Sectionals:

Mia Chang adds to her school record and advances in long jump with a 2nd place finish
Bridget Gallagher cruises to a 2nd place finish in the 1600 to advance
Kori Dues advances with a 3rd place finish in high jump
Maris Bulger breaks 37' for the first time in school history to get 3rd in the shot put and advance

​​Hamilton County:

Jack Weber and Matt Dunlap break Christopher Bluish's 2015 400 meter dash record of 50.60 with Jack running 50.03 and Matt running 50.38!

The 4x400 meter relay team breaks the record set last Friday by running 3:26.12!  Matt Dunlap, Alex Gibbs, Nick Bauman and Ben Grissom!​​

Mia Chang crushes the school record set by Grace Gjerde in 2018 (17'2.25") by jumping 18 feet 3.75 inches!!!

Maris Bulger almost breaks the 37 foot barrier by raising her shot put record to 36 feet 11.5 inches!

The 4x800 relay team of Bridget Gallagher, Rosie Barrett, Katie Kolb and Bailey Freese lower the record set in 2016 by Ellie Schroeder, Paige Schemanske, Mia Driscoll and Megan Slamkowski from 9:42.12 to 9:41.90!​​​​​​

Girls' 4x800 (Claire Milam, Rosie Barrett, Camille Morrow, Bailey Freese)
Matt Dunlap - 400 meters
Luke Moody - 200 meters
Bridget Gallagher - 1600 and 800 meters

Boys' 4x400 finished a close runner-up, but still broke the school record of 3:26.61 from 2011 (Michael O'Hara, Alex Meyer, Connor Howard and Jeff Doll)​​​​​​!  Matt Dunlap, Luke Moody, Nick Bauman and Jack Weber ran 3:26.43!

The Big Orange saw freshman Danny Ernst soar 6'3" to crush the high jump record set only a meet ago!

The boys' team finished team champions!

​​The outdoor season started off right where the indoor season left off!  Maris Bulger breaks her shot put school record by adding another 7 inches!  Freshman Danny Ernst and Seffrin Smith break the 2015 6' high jump record set by Brian Matthews II by clearing 6'1" in their first outdoor chance!

Boys' Team finishes Runner-up and the Girls' Team finishes 3rd at Indoor State Championship!!!

The top finishes by either team in school history!

​​The teams did one final tune-up at Anderson on the 18th and are looking great!

The Boys' Team finished State Runner-up!!!!

The Boys' DMR finished state champion and the Girls' DMR finished state runner-up!

Records were broken by Maris Bulger in the shot put, the 4x800 (Barrett, Kolb, Morrow, Gallagher), 4x200 (Moody, Dunlap, Street, Bauman), 4x400 (Dunlap, Weber, Moody, Hines) and the DMR (Hines, Bauman, Crocker, Weber)

​​Kori Dues tied her high jump record at 5'0"

Luke Moody, Matt Dunlap, Wesley Street and Nick Bauman took another 0.2 off the 4x200 meter relay record they set the weekend before!

Rosie Barrett, Mia Chang, Kyndall Osborne and Bridget Gallagher crushed the 4x400 meter relay record by 6 seconds!  The old record was 4:15.07 set in 2018 by Sherfick, Zlatniski, Gjerde and Schroeder.  It now stands at 4:09.16!

Matt Dunlap, Jack Weber, Nick Bauman and Ethan Hines broke the 4x400 record set back in 2011 (which was the indoor state championship team that year) by 1.5 seconds!  The record set by O'Hara, Doll, Howard and Meyer was 3:32.68 and is now 3:31.12!

​The full team was back in action Saturday March 11th at Anderson University...outstanding performances were turned in across all of the events!

Bridget Gallagher lowered the 3200 meter indoor ​another 5 seconds from the one she set last year!

Danny Ernst tied the indoor high jump record at 6 feet that was set last weekend!​​

Luke Moody, Matt Dunlap, Wesley Street, and Nick Bauman broke the 4x200 meter relay record set back in 2012 by Alex Meyer, Sammy Adams, Connor Howard, and Tony Boran​​​​!

​The Indoor Season kicked off at UIndy 10 am Saturday March 4th!​

Maris Bulger broke Emily Schneider's 2015 indoor shot put record!
It was 33'5" and is now 34'3"!

Seffrin Smith broke ​​​Matt Fletcher's 2019 indoor high jump record!
It was 5'8" and is now 6'0"!​

Lots of top HSR performances turned in!

2022 Cross Country Season Highlights:

State Championship:
​​
The Girls' Team finishes 11th place at the State Championship!!!
The girls ran great on a perfect Saturday afternoon!  Bridget Gallagher finishes on the podium with a 6th place finish!  Bridget was also the 2022 IHSAA Mental Attitude

Ethan Hines finished out his cross country career with a 54th place finish at the State Championship and Luke Moster finished 66th.​​​​​

Semi-State:

The Girls' Team claims 4th place and advances to the State Championship!  Tremendous team effort to earn a 2nd trip to state in program history!

Ethan Hines runs a solid race to advance as an individual to state for the 2nd year in a row and Luke Moster claims the 10th and final individual spot!

Regionals:

The girls crushed it!  They take the final qualifying spot to earn a trip to Regionals!  Great PR's run by the girls!  Bridget Gallagher lowers the school record to 17:38.9!  Total team effort to edge Westfield for the final spot out of Regionals!

The boys' team came in to Regionals short-handed, but ran solid!  Their journey as a team ends at Noblesville, but Luke Moster and Ethan Hines qualify out to Semi-State!​​​​​​​​​​​​

Sectionals:

Huge PR's by both teams!  Both boys' and girls' teams advance to the IHSAA XC Regionals with 4th place finishes!  Bridget Gallagher is your Sectional Champion with a solo effort school record of 17:48.9...breaking Megan Slamkowski's 2016 record of 18:11!​​​​

Hamilton County Championship:

Bridget Gallagher claims the Hamilton County Championship individual title, followed by fellow All-County member Bailey Freese (15th).  The girls' team finished 5th with Rosie Barrett (32nd), Katie Kolb (34th) and Claire Milam (42nd) rounding out the scoring positions.

Ethan Hines (5th) and Jack Weber (19th) earn All-County honors.  The boys' team finishes in 6th place with Luke Moster (39th), Max Fish (54th), and Johnny King (59th) in scoring positions.​​​​​

Circle City Conference:​

Bridget Gallagher (3rd place) and Bailey Freese (5th place) were All-Conference on their way to leading the Golden Eagles to a 3rd place conference finish.  Other scorers: Rosie Barrett (11th), Katie Kolb (14th), and Claire Milam (17th).

Ethan Hines (4th) and ​Jack Weber (5th) were All-Conference on their way to leading the Golden Eagles to a runner-up finish.  Other scorers: Johnny King (13th), James Crocker (15th), and Max Fish (16th).​​​​​​​​​​​​
